Aviella Winder, 12, of Perinton, will release her debut CD, “Ready for Today,” at a special release party starting at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 29 at the House of Guitars, 645 Titus Ave., Irondequoit.
Aviella will perform at the event which is free and open to the public. She’ll also sign copies of the CD which will be available for purchase, as well as her “pick bracelets” and autographed pictures and posters.
The event is a benefit for Soldiers’ Angels, a non-profit organization that supports American soldiers and their families.
There will also be give aways, personalized cookies and chocolate suckers with Aviella’s picture and album cover, pizza donated by Cams Pizzeria and a raffle for an acoustic guitar.
Aviella serves as junior ambassador for Soldiers’ Angels which will receive a portion of all of her CD sales.
