The following events are occurring in the Fairport-East Rochester area on Tuesday, April 24:

8:15 a.m., Microsoft Access Advanced Part 1: Accent Training, 2352 Lyell Ave., Rochester. Topics for Microsoft Access Advanced Part 1 are creating a lookup field, using the totals function in a query, creating a crosstab query, creating a command button, creating a switchboard form using the switchboard manager, creating a "fill in the blanks" query, adding a sub-form to an existing form, creating reports with calculated fields and compacting a database. Cost is $149. Registration is required at www.RochesterBusinessAlliance.com.

5 p.m., Alzheimer's Association Offers Education and Support Groups Throughout Monroe County: St. Ann's Community, 1500 Portland Ave., Rochester. Family members, friends and loved ones of people with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias can join the educational program. Admission is free. Registration is required.
