Parents in LeRoy demanded a second opinion and they finally got their wish Sunday.
A doctor from New Jersey performed his own tests on 15 students affected by mysterious tics and spasms.
News 10-NBC is told Dr. Rosario Trifiletti met with the students and their families in a secret location because they wanted to avoid media attention.
Doctors at the Dent Neurologic Institute in Buffalo already diagnosed the teens with conversion disorder.
Dr. Trifiletti said the diagnosis is inaccurate and believes the students might have a rare auto-immune disorder possibly caused by an infection.
He will return to LeRoy in a couple of weeks with the results of his tests.
