Dr. Barry R. Culhane has received a nomination for induction into the New York State Senate Veterans' Hall of Fame.
Culhane is a tenured faculty member and associate professor at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He has been at RIT since 1981.
Culhane served as a medic in the United States Army from 1969 to 1971.
He will be honored in a reception at the State Capitol May 22.
Culhane will join Ralph L.Chinelly, of East Rochester; Gen. Norbert J. Rappl, of Irondequoit; Col. John J. Perrone, of Penfield; and Nick Verzella, of East Rochester, as members of the hall of fame.
