Four people are set to be arraigned on murder charges in the death of Penfield father, Craig Rideout.

Rideout's sons Alex and Colin Rideout, his estranged wife Laura Rideout, and her boyfriend Paul Tucci will be arraigned at the Hall of Justice this morning.

They were indicted on murder charges earlier this month, after initially being charged with tampering with evidence.

Rideout's body was discovered near Penn Yan nearly five months ago; it was wrapped with a tarp and bungee cord.

News10NBC legal expert Joseph Valentino says the more time that passes between crime and trial, the more difficult it can be for prosecutors sometimes.

"Because witnesses forget things and there's always a difficulty when time does pass between the act, the criminal act, and the actual trial," said Valentino. "So it's going to be a tough case, especially when you have multiple defendants like that,"said Valentino.

A trial date is tentatively set for June.
