Retired Men’s Club—Senior Master Locksmith: 10 a.m. Jan. 17. Bernie Rick is a legend in the locksmith industry and a founder of Security Safe. Rick will give a presentation from his more than 30 years’ experience working with locks and safes. Free.
Alzheimer’s Association of Rochester—Community Education Class: 1 p.m. Jan. 18. The program provides information on detection, causes and risk factors, stages of the disease and treatment. Free. Registration required: 800-272-3900.
Town Open House: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Jan. 19. The town has an incredible and comprehensive system of parks and trails enjoyed by all throughout the year. It is time to refresh and update our 2009 Comprehensive Parks and Open Space plan. The town is seeking comments, opinions, and creative ideas to form the future vision of Perinton’s parks and trails. Healthy Senior Living—Alcohol and Drug Use Concerns of Seniors: 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. Jan. 20. Join Jennifer Faringer as she shares how alcohol and drug use affects seniors, their families and community. Cost: $8. Registration is required.
Teen Center Focus Friday—Movie and Popcorn: 6 to 9 p.m. Jan. 20. Teens will be able to enjoy Playstation 4, Wii, billiards, table tennis, air hockey, foosball, movies, games and crafts. A one-time registration per school year is required to become a member. Cost: $25. Registration is required.
