SagePoint Financial Inc. recently added a tax and investment firm located in Rochester.
Investment partner Kenneth Harzynski and Connie DiNicola, income tax principal and managing partner, join SagePoint with more than $135 million in total client assets.
“With the implementation of the Department of Labor fiduciary rule on the horizon, we have been looking for a firm that can help us navigate these volatile regulatory times,” Harzynski said. “SagePoint will walk us through the process for complying with these new rules and regulations.”
Harzynski has more than 25 years in financial services and has served the Rochester community since founding Tax & Investment Group in 1999. His tax planning service compiles more than 2,000 tax returns per year. He supports 600 clients with ongoing financial services.
DiNicola joined the firm in 2008.
“Our proactive approach to preparing for the DOL rule will undoubtedly benefit this team and their clients,” said Jeff Auld, president and CEO of SagePoint Financial. “I am eager to work closely with these advisers and help them grow their business.”
