Open Hand Theater will present “Grandfather Frost’s Stories of Russia” from 2 to 2:45 p.m. Feb. 4 at Cobblestone Theater, 1622 state Route 332, Farmington.
Grandfather Frost, a mischievous cat and a lost girl are the background for a winter adventure of Russian folk tales. Two sisters will learn lessons about independence and selfishness, and the audience will learn a Russian folk song.
Open Hand Theater celebrates the human experience through puppetry, masks and theater traditions from around the world. The duet of music and puppetry will bring to life a storybook of characters, adventure and culture for grades K-6.
