Norm Silverstein will continue the free Tuesday Topics series with “WXXI at 50 and Beyond” from 12:12 to 12:52 p.m. Feb. 14 at the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County, 115 South Ave., Rochester.
Silverstein, president and CEO of WXXI Public Broadcasting Council and the Little Theatre Film Society, will discuss WXXI’s history, including the studios in the old East High School and the dedication of Harold Hacker and the founding trustees.
He will also present what WXXI offers today to advance education and support quality arts and culture programming in the community.
Attendees can bring their lunch or purchase food from the library’s Starry Nites Cafe.
