The Rochester Federation of Women’s Clubs is extending an invitation to women and women’s clubs in Rochester and surrounding communities to explore membership in the club.
RFWC is an active community service organization with 14 member clubs who support the National Susan B. Anthony Museum and House. This club was formed by Susan B. Anthony in 1898. It meets the second Thursdays of each month from September to June.
The motto of the club is “Failure is not an option.” Its membership theme is “to keep alive the memory and great work of Miss Anthony and sustain an active and and proactive interest in the maintenance of the Museum and House.”
RFWC hosts monthly meetings, fundraisers and holiday and Rose Day luncheons. The next meeting is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 9 at Joey B’s Restaurant, 1325 Elmwood Ave., Rochester.
