A house in rural England becomes the home base for four children who wander into another country through a wardrobe and help its return to summer. They make friends with the forest people in Narnia, who have almost given up hope for the return of King Aslan.
The show is directed by Eric Vaughn Johnson, who recently directed RAPA’s productions of “Sister Act” and “Miracle on 34th Street.” Johnson serves as business manager and program director for RAPA.
The cast features a range of professional adult actors and youth performers. Audience members can meet the characters after the show with photo opportunities and autographs.
Community organizations and schools can book performances throughout the week. Options include bringing the show to another location, taking a field trip to the Kodak Canter and having an educational discussion and backstage tour after the show.
Tickets cost $20 for adults, $18 for students and seniors and $10 for ages 12 and younger.
RAPA Family Theatre is a professional troupe of adult and youth actors that brings theater and literature to the stage. It was established after Rochester Children’s Theatre disbanded in 2014.
