There is nothing like a good book! Better yet is finding that book — or several good books — at a remarkably low price. That is what hundreds of shoppers found at the semi-annual book sale at the Webster Public Library.
With all the budget cuts on both the state and local levels, it is more important than ever to continue to support our library and the fundraising efforts of the Friends of the Webster Library. All monies raised go directly to the library, supporting children and adult programming, adding to the collection, increasing the number of e-books and quick flicks, updating computers, funding special initiatives like the circulating book bags and book discussion kits and travelogues, as well as subsidizing numerous special events.
Many thanks to all of the shoppers and volunteers who made the sale such a success!
