Two Fairport Village Republicans, Kevin Clark and Sean Delehanty, recently announced they will seek nominations for election to the Fairport Village Board of Trustees.
The Fairport Village Republicans will select their candidates for the two board positions available in a caucus on Tuesday, June 14, at 7:30 p.m. at the Potter Memorial Building. The caucus is open to registered Republicans residing in the Village of Fairport.
Clark, a project executive for Campus Construction Management Group, has been a member of the Village Board since 1993, has served as Deputy Mayor since 2007 and is also a member of Fairport’ s Office of Economic Development. He has chaired two Village Comprehensive Plan committees and also chaired last year’s Sustainability Plan committee.
Delehanty, a 1991 graduate of Fairport High School and Ithaca College, holds a Master of Science in International Studies degree from St. John Fisher College. He has worked for Monroe County since 2004, first in the department of communications and currently as a project manager in the department of human resources. His community involvement includes the United Way Young Leaders Club, the Perinton Historical Society and the Fairport Crescent Trail Association.
