The East Rochester Police Department reported the following incidents in April:

April 1: A driver was charged with DWI, refusal to take a prescreen, moving from a lane unsafely, unsafe lane change and no seat belt.

April 1: Two St. John Fisher students were charged with speeding.

April 3: A domestic dispute resulted in the paperwork being signed and sent to court for a second-degree harassment charge.

April 5: After being stopped on Commercial Street for loud music, the driver of a vehicle told the officer he was driving with a revoked license. After a vehicle search resulted in finding four Vicodin pills, the suspect was arrested and given appearance tickets for the noise violation, criminal possession of a controlled substance, aggravated unlawful driving without a license and operation of a vehicle without a court ordered interlock system.

April 6: A suspect was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and criminal possession of a weapon.

April 9: A male was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

April 10: A male was arrested after a domestic dispute.

April 10: A female from Honeoye Falls was issued an appearance ticket for public intoxication.

April 11: An East Rochester resident was arrested for fourth-degree criminal mischief.

April 12: An East Rochester resident was arrested during a domestic incident and charged with second-degree harassment.

April 12: A Madison Street resident reported a stolen tire.

April 14: A driver was charged with driving while intoxicated and inadequate lights.

April 15: The driver of a vehicle, despite having his license suspended six times, was pulled over. After a search of his vehicle, he was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument and aggravated unlicensed operator.

April 15: Several burglaries were reported in the 200 block of West Elm Street.

April 15: A suspect was apprehended after a 911 call reported a hand-to-hand drug deal on Main Street.

April 16: Hit-and-run accident on Pine Street. A 16-year-old was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while impaired by drugs and leaving the scene of an accident.

April 16: A female involved in a motor vehicle accident was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, which was found along with a pipe in the driver's purse by the officer investigation the crash.

April 18: Shoplifting on Fairport Road.

April 18: Excessive noise coming from a vehicle on Magnolia Avenue.

April 21: Cash and a debit card were stolen from a vehicle.

April 24: Two people in a car were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

April 28: After responding to an underage drinking party in the 100 block of West Elm Street, two adults living in the house were charged with six counts of unlawfully dealing with a child and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child. A 16-year-old was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor in a residence.

April 30: Domestic dispute in which the daughter was charged on second-degree harassment.
