    The Turin Day Camp is a weekly program for ages three and up, Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., offered for 10 weeks. Each week has a different theme and daily activities include a swim lesson, other sports lesson, arts and crafts, recreational swimming and field games. Children are divided in appropriate age groups, lunch is provided and camp will not be cancelled due to weather. Early drop off and aftercare are available.     The Spark Model Specialty Camp (Sports, Play and Active Recreation for Kids) is a specialty camp promoting healthy lifestyles including good nutrition and physical education. It is a research based nationally recognized program teaching healthy choices. The focus is on structured fitness for all skill levels, character building and cooperative games including guest speakers. Daily schedule will include warm up, station/skills, team fitness games, swim and free time. Session one is July 9 to 13 first through third grade, 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Session two is fourth and fifth grade 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This is a fully insured program taught by Physical Education Teacher and Coach Danielle Lada,  daniellelada@gmail.com, forms can be found on www.fairportswimming.com  more information on the SPARK MODEL program can be found on www.sparkpe.org/   Registration is available at the Turin facility at (585) 223-0575. A minimum of 25 is needed to run the camp.
    The prestigious Fast Swim School provides aquatic education to all ages and abilities. It is designed to begin the life long journey of water discovery and its many benefits. Safety, drown proofing, stroke efficiency and having fun are the priorities. Classes are taught by Fairport Swimming Aquatic Professionals that are USA Swimming Coach members and Red Cross certified.     Water Polo is a new outdoor summer program at the Turin facility. It is a fast moving water ball game that improves swimming skills combined with ball handling skills. This will be offered for boys entering sixth through eighth grade and boys entering ninth through 12th grade for 10 weeks starting June 30, Saturday and Sunday mornings. Skill development and game strategy is the focus with an end of season tournament play.     Page 2 of 2 - Twilight Drop-In Volleyball is a new program that will be introduced this summer. The target audience will be high school students, college students and adults. More information will be available shortly. The target start will be the end of June.
    Turin Swim Team is for Turin members. Basic swimming skills are entry level, coaches will teach the rest. Practice sessions are offered two mornings per week. Friendly and fun summer league competition is included. The team is coached by FAST (Fairport Area Swim Team) coaches. FAST also offers a year round competitive swimming program with a reputation in the Northeast as a premier club.     Sport(s) Instruction and mini camps are available at the Turin facility for the following sports: swimming, soccer, lacrosse, field hockey, basketball and football.
    Summer Lacrosse Mini Camp: Staffed by Jacques Monte, Tim Soudan, Fairport Youth Lacrosse Staff and Current Fairport Lacrosse Players. The camp takes place July 2 to 3 for grades one through six from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Fee is $30. Registration at the Turin facility, information found on the www.fairportswimming.com web site.
    Summer Football Mini Camp: Staffed by Jacques Monte, Dave Whitcomb and Current Fairport Football Players. July 19-20, grades one through six, 9 a.m. to noon. Fee is $25
    Summer Field Hockey Mini Camp: Staffed by Pam Morris, Fairport HS Field Hockey Head Coach, Wendy Andreatta, University of Rochester Field Hockey Head Coach and Liz Monte, Former Geneseo Field Hockey Head Coach. July 16, Grades one through six, 8:30 a.m. to noon. Fee is $15.
    Turin Fitness Youth Training Camp: Staffed by sport fitness professionals at Turin, Cortland Grad Dylan Scheemaker,  Fairport Grad Jenn Spitzer, Fairport Grad Matt Spitzer and guest Coach Rick Guido, Fairport HS Girls Track Head Coach. Grades seven to 12, Five one week sessions offered 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. June 18 to 22, July 9 to 13, July 23 to 27, August 6 to 10 and August 13 to 17. Fee is $100 per session. Activities will include: plyometrics, aquatic cross training, running, swimming, core exercises, stretching and team games. In addition topics to be covers: nutrition, sleep, hydration and injury prevention. Registration available at the Turin facility and information can be found on the www.fairportswimming.com web site.
    Turin Late Spring Tennis: Staffed by Turin Tennis Pro Ryan McCormick. Pee wee tennis to advanced tennis. June 11 to 29, twice per week, weekdays. Schedule and fees are available on the www.fairportswimming.com web site and at the Turin facility.
